Taourirt Kasbah

The Kasbah of Taourirt is very close to Dar Digital Nomad apartment. It’s a mid-19th-century historical complex built by the powerful Glaoui family. It has 300 rooms, and you can visit part of them, although they’re completely empty without furniture or any other equipment.

The color of the building is excellent for photos, especially at the end of a sunny day when the yellow turns to gold at sunset, contrasting with the blue sky.  To go inside you have to pay a ticket. You'll have the option of taking a guide with you that will explain the interesting secrets of this fascinating place.

This building gives you the opportunity to visit the interior of a Royal Kasbah, where you can appreciate the ancient architecture of southern Morocco right in the center of Ouarzazate.
