Kasbah Telouet

Kasbah Telouet is a bit further, about 80 km from Ouarzazate, but it’s a must-visit too. It’s a lot less touristy than Ait Benhaddou, and it can be a truly magical place if you’re lucky enough to be the only one visiting.

The palace was the Glaoui family’s main house, which shows in the lavish décor of the building. The Kasbah Telouet was also strategically placed on the trade route between Marrakesh and Western Africa, via the Sahara Desert.
