3 de Mars Square

Place 3 de Mars in Ouarzazate is one of the famous squares in the city and is located along the Avenue Mohammed V.

3 de Mars Square is the present location of Ouarzazate Convention Center (Palais des Congrès) which comprises a large building that is intended to hold conventions and large events to promote and share joint concerns about the City of Ouarzazate and the Province.

Ouarzazate Convention centers offer an adequate area to receive several thousand attendees. Very large venues, suitable for important trade shows, and exhibition halls are organized in Ouarzazate's Palais des Congrès every year.

On this square, there are a few cafés, travel agencies and other general shops.

The name of this square marks the special date of the Throne Day of the late King Hassan II and his coronation day.
