Ouarzazate is a fantastic city 200 km from Marrakech, on the other side of the Atlas Mountains. Ouarzazate is a destination to stay at least 2 or 3 days, has lots of fascinating and beautiful places to explore.
Do not miss the fantastic Oasis of Fint, Kasbah Tifoultoute, UNESCO World Heritage called Ksar Ait Benhaddou, the Oasis of Skoura and the village of Tounout, Anzal and Tazenakht.
In the city center you can visit fascinating Kasbah of Taourirt, central market, lake of Ouarzazate, river area, the big Sunday souk and the Cinema Museum.
Let’s not forget about the two grand movie studios, where you can find the sets of various Hollywood productions like “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Babel, “Prince of Persia”, just to name a few.
Finally, the Al-Mouahidine square in the city centre of Ouarzazate. Around 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm, when it fills up with people, men and women, boys and girls, come all to walk, see and be seen.
